For many years I was actively involved with the Georgina Arts Centre – the GAC, as it was fondly called. Such diversity! Over the years when I was curator, I promoted, among others, our local artists (per square foot, there are more artist in Georgina than in Toronto!), indigenous artists (we are so lucky to have Georgina Island just a boat ride away) and black artists (one of the best you will ever come across lives here, in Georgina)… and so much more.
I have begun writing the story of those years.
There is much to recount, and many chapters to write. I’m calling this story Step back in time, and you can start reading it by clicking on the image below.
And who knows? Maybe there is a phoenix living in Georgina…
Over the years, Ewa has written a large number of articles for newspapers and journals on aspects of the arts.
Always the article would report on an artistic event in the Georgina community, and would include verbatim citations of artists comments and reactions. These articles represent a panorama of artistic development in the community.

Artists’ hub
We are opening several virtual galleries! Drop in and view them — or, better still, contact us about adding your work to a gallery! As we expand (in the same way the universe is expanding) we shall add galleries featuring known artists and less well-known artists. Many, many galleries…

We have, over the years, given many presentations on Art and music. Some of them we have recorded for YouTube; Here is a convenient collection of the links.
There are presentations on painters, on cities, and on music composers. More coming!
